Education Wing Campaign
The effort is aimed at fulfilling our mission priorities and ministry potential by raising enough funds now to enable us to have a useable Education Wing with our new facility.
The Education Wing Campaign is our opportunity to demonstrate in a real way the value we place upon our children and youth. Now is the time for us to ensure that they feel, there is a place for us!
Our Goal is to secure three-year pledges and gifts (over and above our regular pledges and offerings and the “A Time to Build” Campaign pledges) to enable us to build at least the shell of the Education Wing at this time. $305,000 would allow us to build this space, use it for programming, and begin work on completing the interior with “sweat equity” when funds are available. $521,000 is required to finish this addition.
Our Children and Youth are stepping up to make this happen. They have set a goal that 100% of families with children and/or youth in our program will support this campaign. In addition, they are organizing fundraising efforts to help the campaign.
Great appreciation goes to all of you who have generously pledged to the entire building program! Thanks to you we are continuing to see great progress in the project. If you didn’t pledge or make a gift to the “A Time to Build” campaign, please consider this opportunity to help the vision become a reality. If you have pledged to the building campaign, we are asking you to prayerfully consider what God is seeking to give through you to this project. The blessings we will receive from these gifts and sacrifices will soon come back to us on the faces of our little ones in this new space for them.
You may be surprised by the gift you can give over the course of three years via regular weekly or monthly gifts. Many people find that there are creative ways to give from assets of stock,* securities, or real property. The tax savings realized from gifts of some appreciated assets may allow you to give more to the Education Wing Campaign than might otherwise be possible. In particular, we will ask everyone to also consider gifts from their wills, estates, and trusts to help ensure the long-term viability of our ministry. Enclosed are materials regarding a new opportunity to help the education wing construction—the member loan program(See information below). This is one of those creative avenues for us to realize our ministry goals and invest in our own ministry. If you are interested in the member loan program, please complete the enclosed materials or if you have questions contact Pat Edeburn:251-1800.
God has blessed us with a growing number of children, youth, and families to be in ministry with. It is now our opportunity and responsibility to meet their needs with hospitality, quality, and love. Please pray about this opportunity to make a real difference .
