Rev. William F. Meier, Lead Pastor Phone Extension #15
Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am - 4pm
Bill grew up in a parsonage family and vowed that pastoral leadership was one of the last things he had in mind for a vocation. God's persistent and compelling call eventually won out and he finds this work more fulfilling than ever imagined. Following his theological education at the Iliff School of Theology, on the University of Denver campus, he has served parishes in all parts of the state, coming to St. Cloud after serving Detroit Lakes United Methodist Church for 12 years. His passions in ministry are spiritual formation, worship and preaching, and small groups. Bill and his wife, Linda, feel privileged to serve this congregation. They have three grown children. Bill enjoys reading, water gardening, travel, and sitting quietly in the woods (a.k.a. deer hunting).
I am so fortunate to serve with a staff that is so dedicated, healthy, capable, caring and fun. This congregation is amazing in its ability to be healthy amid stress, to respond to the call of justice and mercy, to be deeply focused upon its vision, and to care for each other in the process. I look forward to seeing this congregation continue to expand its ministry and outreach in creative, authentic and effective ways.

Rev. Randy L. Johnson, Associate Pastor Phone Extension # 14
Office Hours: Monday evenings (5-8pm) Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings
Randy has been an ordained minister for over 30 years, having served American Baptist churches in the Twin Cities and an interdenominational, international congregation in San Juan, Puerto Rico from 1992-1996. He has been involved in ministry at FUMC since moving to St. Cloud in 1996 with his wife, Carla, who teaches at SCSU. They have two adult children and four grandchildren. Randy became a member of our Pastoral Staff in 2007 and our Associate Pastor in 2011. He provides staff support for our Care Team, Adult Education Team and our new Launch Team. Randy's other interests include traveling with Carla, singing in the Minnesota Center Chorale, and working as a therapist and clinical director at the Center for Family Counseling.
I feel blessed to help provide pastoral leadership and care to the people of FUMC and to help us all reach out to this community with the love of Christ. It is an exciting time as I work with our Launch Team to prepare us all to be effective in inviting, welcoming and integrating new members into the life of our congregation and involving them in our important ministries. I am confident that God will continue to lead us into the future on this shared journey of faith and mission.

Children's Ministry (Birth-6th Grade)
Diana has been a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years! She has 20 years of experience teaching art in the Anoka, Moundsview and Wayzata school districts. I was called to ministry early in my life. I taught my first Sunday School class when I was a teenager and have been doing so ever since. Sharing the joy and love of God and teaching the children the stories of the Bible energizes me. I love working with children and feel blessed to be with them as we learn to together. I feel honored to be allowed to partner with parents as we journey together with their children in faith.

Gordon & Ardell Graner, Missionary Partners, Bolivia.
Missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church, Gordon Graner is assigned with his wife Ardell, also a GBGM missionary, to serve in solidarity with the Bolivian Evangelical Methodist Church.
Gordon directs the Thiu Rancho Center, a rural ministry 20 miles outside of the city of Cochabamba. The project was established in 1960 as a retreat center for Methodist youth and as an agricultural center. Assigned to the center in 1990, Gordon has worked to rebuild and expand the retreat center, help support a discipleship program for Methodist lay pastors and directs the agricultural component of the center.
"The Thiu Rancho Center is a place where our guests may deepen their faith relationship with God, is a place of love and hope for our neighbors who struggle daily to stay one step ahead of the desperation of poverty, and the Tiu Rancho Center is a Christian witness of stewardship respecting all of God's creation," Gordon shares.
Gordon first became interested in agriculture during high school when his mother married a farmer. In college he worked summers on his stepfather's farm. After seminary Gordon worked for four years in refugee resettlement with World Relief in Chicago.
A native of Bismarck, ND, Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Animal Science from North Dakota State University in Fargo, and a Master of Arts degree in Religion, (Evangelism and Mission) from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, KY. He also has a certificate in urban ministry from North Park Seminary in Chicago.
Gordon and Ardell are the parents of three children: Jenny, Samuel, and Hannah. Hannah was born in Cochabamba and holds dual US and Bolivian citizenship.
Gordon Graner is available for Covenant Relationship support in Dakotas Annual Conference , Minnesota Annual Conference , West Michigan Annual Conference , Western North Carolina Annual Conference , Wisconsin Annual Conference .
