Love on Sundays, during 9:00 a.m. “Traditional” Worship

What:
Christian education for
preschoolers through sixth grade: experiencing the love of Jesus!

Who: Children learn of God’s story through Bible stories, games, and art. Each
age group has its own gathering room, with
options to go to various media
centers.

Primary Plus: Grade 2 & 3

Intermediate: Grades 4, 5, & 6

Fun and Son: Grades 4, 5, & 6

When:
Every Sunday morning during our 9:00 a.m.
worship

How: Bring
your children into worship, then, following the Pastor’s
message to the children, children are dismissed for
Kids’ Kingdom. Teachers or teen assistants guide children
to their areas. Children remain in their classroom until parents pick them up and connect with teachers.

Where: Lower
level of church.

Registration: Parents of new children, please pick up a
registration form in worship, at entryways, or register with the teacher at
their first Kids’ Kingdom.
NURSERY CARE:
We welcome back our
Nursery Staff-person, Tiffany Elness, with our nursery children! She staffs our
nursery each Sunday
morning from 8:45 - 12:15. The Nursery is on the main floor near the Offices. A
children’s bathroom is adjacent. The
nursery is air-conditioned during the summer. Parents, please register each
child as you arrive.

THE FAMILY ROOM:
Is available at the rear of the sanctuary
for children, with their parent or
guardian present. The window and speaker enable adults to listen and
watch the service. A children’s bathroom is adjacent.

Children's Music Time
Julie Lindquist will lead
interested children in grades Pre-K through grade 3 from 10 am - 10:20 each
Sunday. Rehearsals are located in the Church library.
Fun N' Son
4-6th Grade Group: Lots of fun like bowling, sledding, games, and some
service projects, too! Meets monthly. Watch for details, parent
coordinators Linda Caird or Barbara and Jim Eckberg
will lead 6 sessions for kids in
grades 4, 5 and 6. We explore a time of fun and fellowship with our First Church
friends in places outside the church walls. Please refer to calendar below
for dates, times and places. Our first outing will take place at
Oak Hill
Community School playground on
Wednesday, September 26. We will be
meeting
there for a game of kick ball
and playground fun, greet old and new friends from 6:30- 8:00 p.m. A light snack
will be served.
