As fall approaches the finishing touches on the new format for Confirmation are being made.  An innovative, comprehensive, and creative program is being developed for all ages of youth.  A rough outline of the main points of the program looks like this:

 7-8^th Grade weekly Wednesday evening program “Confirmation Part One” (for lack of a better name at this point) will form the foundation of equipping the spiritual lives of our youth by doing an exploration of the two parts of our Scriptures (Hebrew and Christian) in a creative way that connects the stories with contemporary life.  Adult guides will help shepherd youth.

 9^th Grade will join The Table group in their weekly spiritual disciplines and in what is essentially their own style of “Accountable Covenant Discipleship” spiritual formation.  Monthly they will meet to explore various topics that will equip them in the Christian spiritual life and prepare them to affirm their own faith.  This will be Part Two.

10^th – 12^th Grade will continue the vital life they have experienced in The Table.  Further Adult guides will be needed to help shepherd this process also.

Rev. Meier will be involved at various points in all three phases of this ministry.  This model may be adapted and expanded as we live into it.  Be looking for ways that you can help support or be involved personally in this important ministry
